Hero Passion Pro i3S is the latest Passion variant from Hero MotoCorp. As the name suggests it features Idle Start Stop System, Hero’s own patent technology to enhance fuel efficiency. The iconic 100cc engine runs the latest Passion Pro i3S model, delivering same 8.36 PS power and 8.05 Nm torque. Engine is mated with 4-speed gearbox for optimum power delivery. The suspension and braking of this model is similar to the older Passion Pro model, but the 2017 BS-IV variant features 240mm front disc brakes.

The BS-IV variant features AHO headlamps, 16-spoke alloy wheels and newer rear tail lamps as the cosmetic changes. The i3S system works by killing the engine, when it is idle for more than 5 seconds, example: during traffic signals. The system restarts the engine again, when clutch lever is pressed. By doing so fuel efficiency of the bike is increased.
